Each project is designed specifically to meet the clients’ requirements, producing a unique bespoke piece. 

All staircases produced by Boden and Ward are handmade in our workshops in Flore, Northampton. 

The process involves starting with a 7 tonne block of stone which is cut down by the primary saw.  These “stone scants” are then transferred to the secondary saws to be cut down further and then finally taken into the banker shop to be worked by hand.  Each step is then packed and wrapped onto a pallet ready for delivery to site to be fixed by our own time served and experienced masons.
