NOTHING COMPARES TO THE BEAUTY OF A NATURAL STONE FIREPLACE
We do not have a standard range of fireplaces but will make any fireplace you like either from a photograph or drawing, or maybe you like parts of two different fireplaces and want to put them together. Some customers need a fireplace reproducing from another part of the house. Whatever your requirement we pride ourselves in knowing what will look good and what dimensions need to alter in order for the finished result to look just right.
Sean Collins has been designing and making stone fireplaces for over 35 years. The shape and size is paramount and Sean will advise using his experience both as a draughtsmen and a stonemason. There are many different stones to choose from and a visit to our yard to see the stone in block form often makes that decision easy. Stone samples can be sent out if you are not local to us. Before any stone is cut, we make a full size plastic template to be attached to the wall, so that you can make sure that the dimensions suit the room. Once this is agreed, we then proceed to cut the stone and work it by hand in our banker shops in Flore, Northampton.
